Trondheim is grappling with a surge in drug overdoses, with nine cases reported within a 12-hour span.
The incidents, linked to the use of GHB, have prompted urgent warnings from local police and health teams.
Victims, aged between 20 and 60, were found unconscious in various parks across the city.
Authorities are concerned about a potentially more potent variant of GHB circulating, possibly GBL, which poses a higher risk of overdose.
The police and health teams are actively working to trace and halt the distribution of this dangerous substance.
Residents are urged to avoid using GHB and report any information to the police to help prevent further incidents.
