A tram derailed and crashed into a store in Oslo's bustling Storgata, causing significant disruption to public transport.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when the tram, carrying about 20 passengers, veered off track and collided with the Eplehuset store.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, though four individuals sustained minor injuries.
The crash has led to the closure of several tram and bus lines, affecting routes 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, and 19, as well as multiple bus services.
Emergency services quickly arrived on the scene, and the area has been cordoned off for safety assessments.
The cause of the derailment is under investigation, with initial reports suggesting it was a straightforward derailment rather than sabotage.
Cleanup and recovery efforts are expected to take time, as the building must be secured before the tram can be removed.
