A tragic accident in Stjørdal has resulted in the death of a woman in her 60s after a collision between an electric scooter and a car.

The incident occurred near a roundabout on Friday afternoon, with police receiving the report at 16:42. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by a nurse at the scene, the woman's life could not be saved.

Her family has been notified.

The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, has had his driver's license temporarily confiscated as investigations continue.

Both police forensic teams and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's accident group are involved in the ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
