In a dramatic incident on Thursday evening, three teenagers found themselves in the water after their boat sank in Visterflo, located between Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg.
The emergency services were promptly alerted to the scene, where the youths had been enjoying a boat ride.
The boat reportedly capsized after a sudden maneuver while towing a person on a tube, causing it to take on water and sink.
Fortunately, all three teenagers were wearing life jackets and managed to swim to safety.
One of the teens was taken to a local clinic for a precautionary check-up, but no injuries were reported.
The swift response from the fire department, which deployed a rescue boat, and the alertness of the teens, ensured a safe outcome for all involved.
