Severe weather conditions have led to the isolation of approximately 2,700 residents on the islands of Sunnmøre, Norway.
The closure of Lepsøybrua, the only bridge connecting these islands to the mainland, is due to strong winds, leaving the islanders cut off.
The adverse weather has also caused significant disruptions across the country, with several mountain passes closed due to snow and strong winds.
Riksvei 7 over Hardangervidda and other key routes are shut for passenger vehicles, with convoy driving in place for heavier vehicles.
Authorities are continuously assessing the situation, but the weather is expected to remain challenging throughout the weekend, with warnings of snow and potential flooding in various regions.
