In the early hours of Sunday, a violent incident in Vanylven, Sunnmøre, led to the hospitalization of one individual.

The police, alerted around 2:51 AM, described the violence as severe.

The injured person was transported to Volda Hospital, though the extent of their injuries remains unknown.

Two men in their 30s have been arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred outdoors in Fiskå.

The cause of the violence is still under investigation, and the suspects, who were reportedly under the influence of alcohol, are being held in Ålesund.

Police are determining when they can be interviewed.
