The incident occurred early Friday morning following a tense standoff that began Thursday evening.
Police had responded to a distress call about a threatening individual, leading to the deployment of armed officers and a helicopter.
Despite attempts to resolve the situation peacefully, shots were fired from the house, prompting police to return fire, injuring the suspect.
