A young pilot, Jip Verwer, executed a remarkable emergency landing on a narrow road in Telemark, Norway, after his small aircraft's propeller failed at 4,000 feet.
The 21-year-old, who has been flying since he was 16, was on a sightseeing tour when the engine stopped, likely due to propeller icing.
Despite the challenging terrain, Verwer skillfully maneuvered the plane to a safe landing on a county road, avoiding trees and power lines.
The police confirmed that Verwer followed all correct procedures, and no injuries or damages were reported.
The incident, which left witnesses in disbelief, will not result in any legal action.
