Commuters in Oslo faced significant disruptions on Wednesday morning due to a signal failure between Oslo S and Lillestrøm.
The issue, which has since been resolved, led to delays and overcrowding on trains, particularly affecting those traveling from Asker and Sandvika.
Vy, the train operator, advised passengers to use alternative trains as the morning rush saw trains reaching full capacity.
Despite the resolution of the signal problem, travelers were still advised to expect some delays.
The Norwegian government has pledged an additional 2.9 billion kroner to improve railway infrastructure, promising fewer delays and more trains on schedule in the future.
