Over 8,000 households in Oslo and Romerike experienced a power outage on Friday evening due to a high-voltage fault.
The issue originated from a defective voltage transformer at Strømmen, which caused sparks and led to the shutdown of a nearby substation.
Areas like Lindeberg and Haugerud were among those affected.
Elvia, the power company, acted swiftly to isolate the fault and restore electricity.
By 7:13 PM, power was fully restored to all affected homes.
Despite the disruption, there was no panic reported, even in public spaces like Strømmen Storsenter, where customers calmly waited for the lights to return.
