The Labour Party (Arbeiderpartiet) in Oslo is experiencing a significant decline in voter support, according to a recent poll conducted by Norstat for Aftenposten.
The party's support has plummeted by 7.2 percentage points since the 2021 election, now standing at a historic low of 15.8%.
This drop is the largest recorded for the party in Oslo in over a decade.
The poll indicates that only half of the party's previous voters would choose to support them again, with many shifting their allegiance to the Conservative Party (Høyre), the Liberal Party (Venstre), and the Socialist Left Party (SV).
In contrast, the Conservative Party and the Progress Party (Frp) have seen significant gains.
Labour's deputy leader, Jan Christian Vestre, acknowledges the poor performance and emphasizes the need for the party to better address everyday issues and highlight differences with the Conservatives.
