In a startling incident in Alta, Norway, Ann-Mari Pettersen Magga was jolted awake by mysterious noises in her apartment.
The intruder, a man in his 40s known to the police, had climbed to her third-floor apartment using a fire escape ladder.
Upon entering through a skylight, he used the bathroom before being apprehended by the police.
Magga, in a state of panic, fled to her neighbor, who had already alerted the authorities after spotting the man on the roof.
The police swiftly arrested the intruder, who has a history of similar offenses.
Although nothing was stolen, the incident left Magga feeling unsafe in her own home.
