Norway's housing market is poised for significant growth in 2025, with experts predicting sharp price increases.
DNB Eiendom forecasts an 8.5% rise in housing prices next year, driven by expected interest rate cuts and a shortage of homes in urban areas.
Stavanger is expected to see the highest growth at 14%, followed by Bergen at 12%, Oslo at 10%, and Trondheim at 5%.
Meanwhile, Handelsbanken Capital Markets anticipates even stronger growth, projecting a 25–30% increase in housing prices from 2024 to 2026, with Oslo and Tromsø leading the surge.
Key factors include reduced equity requirements for loans and a more expansive state budget.
January alone could see a 4% price jump, signaling a dynamic year ahead for the housing market.
