Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway marked a historic milestone by participating in her first official state visit.
The 21-year-old joined three generations of the Norwegian royal family to welcome Iceland's President Halla Tómasdóttir and her husband to Oslo.
This event, the 55th state visit during King Harald's reign, saw the princess stepping into a significant diplomatic role after completing 15 months of military service.
The visit began with a grand ceremony at Slottsplassen, where national anthems were played, and the royal family greeted officials and schoolchildren.
Later, the princess joined a formal lunch and gala dinner at the Royal Palace.
This moment also rekindled memories of her first official trip as a baby to Iceland, symbolizing the enduring ties between the two nations.
