Trond Giske, a prominent figure in Norwegian politics, has once again been rejected by the nomination committee for a spot on the Stortinget, Norway's parliament.
Despite being proposed as the top candidate by Trondheim Ap, only one out of nine committee members supported his candidacy.
The committee's final proposal excludes Giske, favoring Per Olav Skurdal Hopsø instead.
This decision comes amid internal strife within the party, with some local branches still backing Giske.
The final decision on the candidate list for Sør-Trøndelag will be made on November 30, leaving Giske's political future uncertain.
