A 37-year-old man remains at large after escaping from Hustad Prison's high-security unit on Christmas Eve.

The fugitive, of Moroccan origin, has a history of over 150 thefts and has previously escaped custody five times.

Police suspect him of a recent break-in at a vacant house in Hustadvika, where food remnants and a note linked to him were found.

Despite extensive searches involving drones, dogs, and patrols, he has not been located.

Authorities emphasize that he poses no threat to the public but urge anyone with information to come forward.
