In a significant political shift, the Progress Party (FrP) has overtaken the Labour Party in Norway for the first time in over 16 years, according to a recent TV 2 poll.
The FrP now holds a 19.7% approval rating, marking a two percentage point increase since the last survey.
Meanwhile, the Labour Party has seen a decline, dropping 4.5 percentage points to 17.7%.
This change highlights a growing preference for FrP leader Sylvi Listhaug, who is gaining popularity as a potential prime minister, although she still trails behind Conservative leader Erna Solberg.
The poll results, however, come with a caution due to a high margin of error.
