Northern Norway is bracing for its first autumn storm as Meteorological Institute issues a yellow warning for strong winds.
The storm, named 'Lillian', is expected to bring gusts of 25-30 meters per second, particularly affecting Nordland and Troms on Saturday.
Residents are advised to secure outdoor furniture and trampolines, as the storm could cause disruptions in transport and power supply.
The storm will also bring heavy rain, although it is expected to pass quickly.
Meanwhile, Southern Norway will experience strong southwesterly winds and rain, impacting areas like Oslofjord, Østfold, and Vestfold.
Despite the stormy weather, Eastern Finnmark is forecasted to enjoy milder conditions with temperatures reaching up to 23 degrees Celsius.
The public is urged to prepare for potential travel delays and power outages as the storm progresses.
