A ticket inspector in Oslo faced a frightening situation on a bus when a passenger threatened them with what appeared to be a firearm.

The incident occurred on Friday at Nationaltheateret station.

Police quickly apprehended a suspect, a man in his late teens, at the Maritim bus stop without any drama.

Upon investigation, the weapon was found to be non-functional, though it visually resembled a real gun.

The suspect is currently being questioned by authorities.

The police emphasized that while the weapon was not operational, it could easily be mistaken for a real threat.
