A major fire broke out in a commercial building in Otta, Gudbrandsdalen, on Thursday, prompting emergency evacuations and safety measures.
The building, housing businesses like Postnord, contained gas cylinders, raising fears of explosions.
A 300-meter safety zone was established, lifted, and later reinstated after more gas cylinders were discovered.
Residents were warned via emergency alerts to avoid the area and stay indoors due to toxic smoke.
Firefighters deployed a robot to cool the gas cylinders and prevent further danger.
While the fire is partially under control, efforts to fully extinguish it continue.
No injuries have been reported, and all employees from affected businesses are safe.
