A new book titled "Partiet" has stirred controversy by revealing internal conflicts within Norway's Arbeiderpartiet (Labour Party) and its leader, Jonas Gahr Støre.
The book, based on interviews with 70 anonymous sources, claims that secret polls in 2021 showed Støre's leadership negatively impacted the party's popularity.
Despite these findings, Støre led the party to victory in the elections.
However, the book's accuracy is under scrutiny, with several individuals, including journalist Lars Joakim Skarvøy, pointing out factual errors.
Gyldendal, the publisher, has acknowledged these mistakes and plans to correct them in future editions.
Støre himself has not read the book but has expressed that he does not recognize the portrayal of events.
