A break-in occurred at the Venezuelan Embassy in Oslo on Wednesday afternoon, causing damage inside the building.
Norwegian police were alerted around 1:30 PM and are conducting investigations at the scene.
The Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Yván Gil Pinto, condemned the incident on Instagram, blaming opponents of President Nicolás Maduro and demanding that Norwegian authorities find those responsible.
The Police Security Service (PST) has been informed and is awaiting further findings from the investigation.
Images shared by the minister show the ransacked state of the embassy, intensifying calls for accountability.
Norwegian authorities are in dialogue with embassy staff as the investigation continues.
